Numerous buildings are built not only in Turkey but also in the world. Various investments of different typologies and approaches are made from micro to macro scales. We, as architects generally consider all these building activities in architectural and spatial contexts. What about the process? Only some architecture schools and few architectural offices drive the processes of the projects forward. But what about the massive projects that affect the urban fabric direclty?
"ARKIMEET Timeline" will be one of the sessions expected to become an ARKIMEET tradition. Every year one project, which is significant in urban scale, will be discussed in detail chronologically from the very first days of the design process until the execution.
This year the chosen project is Zorlu Center which the architecture community keeps tabs on since 2007. The designer of the project, Emre Arolat will take up the story of the project comprehensively in ARKIMEET 2013.
