Foreign Affairs Assistant Deputy Minister
Assistant Deputy Minister Naci Koru was born in İzmir July 3,1958. He gratuated from "International Relations" department, Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara in 1980 and participated Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the ministry he worked many positions such as Third Secretary, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Directorate for the Consular Affairs, Third Secretary, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Directorate for the Middle East, Head of Section, at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Directorate of Information, Internet Section.


Mr. Koru's foreign positions are; Second Secretary, at the Turkish Embassy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Vice Consul at the Turkish Consulate General in Bregenz, Austria, First Secretary, Counsellor, at the Turkish Embassy in Bonn, Germany, Counsellor at the Turkish Permanent Representation to the FAO, Rome, and Head of Section, at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Directorate of Information, Internet Section.

Assistant Deputy Minister Naci Koru is consul general in Mainz in between 1997-2000 and in Chiago in between 2002-2007. After that he wa appointed on 15 February 2007 as Ambassador, Turkish Embassy in Riyadh. In 2009 he appointed as Ambassador, Deputy Undersecretary (Administrative, Personnel, Archive and Transportation, Consular, Education, Legal and Protocol Affairs).

He was appointed as Foreign Affairs Assistant Deputy Minister on 6 March 2012. Mr. Koru is married and has two children.He knows English, German and Arabic.
