Urban inheritance of Europe-centric Industrial Revolution is an important phenomenon for various disciplines. In terms of architecture, buildings, building complexes, urban areas -which are part of the industrial heritage- are transformed and refunctioned in various world cities. To use culture and arts as a tool to regenerate urban decline areas can be evaluated from different perspectives. How do these projects, which are applied to function as an "acupuncture point", result? In some cases, it is not possible to disclaim destructive consequences of gentrification but nevertheless one can justify these projects as they enhace the public area usage. Therefore, transformation processes require developing new methods and approaches in different fields beside the urban intervention itself.
